Elly Kitindi has for the last 17 interacted with Development discourse in various employment and consulting contexts. He brings to the team competences in Applied Social Research, Social Policy Development, Analysis and Review, Programme Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Organizational Strengthening and Grants Management. He has thematic competencies in Child Rights and Protection, Social Protection and Gender and Development.
He previously worked with the Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development on DFID’s funded Strengthening of Evidence Based Decision Making project under the Office of the Prime Minister of Uganda), Nurture Africa, an international NGO that supports vulnerable groups in Africa, International Lifeline Fund (United Nations Development Programme and World Food Programme), Federation of Uganda Employers, NAMA Area Cooperative Enterprise. Cooperative Facility for Africa, Save an Opportunity Uganda, Nakapiripirit Town Council.
He has been part of consultancy projects with organizations that include Economic Development Policy and Research Department (EDPRP), Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development (MOFPED), He continues to train on Research Monitoring and Evaluation at the Institute of Advanced Leadership Uganda and is at the forefront of furthering the research and development planning agenda at Nkumba University. He been part of development interventions reaching the grassroots person by undertaking community development project interventions, and community mobilisation for Plan International (Uganda), World Vision (Uganda) and Uganda Youth Anti Aids Association.
He holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Management, Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (sociology and social administration), Certificates in Project Planning and Management, Participatory Rural Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation and Foundations of Rural Development.
