Juliet Nakayenga is the Business Manager of Development Links Consult. She has over 13 years of experience in Research , Monitoring and Evaluation child protection and community development work. She has worked with independent fostering agencies and Local Authorities in England and interacted with various systems and interventions for enhancing child safeguarding and inclusion especially for children with intellectual disabilities. She has also worked as an M&E Officer for the Ministry of Education and Sports providing technical support to the departments of Pre and Primary education, Teacher Education, Secondary and BTVET to enhance planning, service delivery and reporting and measuring effectiveness of development interventions in education . Juliet has been involved in various research studies in the social and market research domains with firms such as K2 Consult and Steadman and Associates (now Ipsos Synovate).

At DLC , Juliet provides technical support in designing studies, undertaking child protection related consultancies, conducting participatory rural appraisals and managing the delivery of assignments contracted to the firm and client relationship management.

Juliet holds a Master’s Degree in International Child Welfare, a Diploma in Child Psychology and a Post graduate Diploma in Integrated Rural Planning. Her first degree is a BA (Social Sciences) majoring in Sociology. She is fluent in English with a fair comprehension and speaking of French.
