Social Protection interventions are essential in addressing the rights of rights of vulnerable persons. Well designed and executed social protection mechanisms can be effective in responding to livelihood shocks, economic and social risks that drive and perpetuate poverty and vulnerability.
DLC offers technical support to private and public sector agencies to design and implement protective, preventive, promotive and transformative social protection measures. We offer technical services in designing, monitoring and evaluation of programmes for excluded and marginalised groups such as OVC, PWDs, ethnic minorities, and PLWHA. The DLC team has experience working with disadvantaged and excluded groups, including specific consultations designed to seek their views on policy and other development issues.
